2012 Cadillac Converj
A Chevy Volt, in Cadillac drag. Like the Volt, the Converj can go 40 miles on batteries alone, then a gas engine kicks in to extend the range. Recharging via a wall outlet is also possible. Designed with the idea that the car’s beauty should dictate its appeal—not its powertrain—the Converj is nevertheless powered by a high-tech propulsion system. GM says the Converj takes advantage of a more-advanced version of the Volt’s E-REV system, now dubbed Voltec by the company, but the particulars appear the same: a 16-kWh, T-shaped battery pack, powering a 120-kW (161 hp) electric motor and recharged via a four-cylinder range-extending engine. Torque stands at 273 lb-ft and the Converj’s top speed is 100 mph.
2010 Ferrari 458 Italia
Ferrari is perhaps one of the most innovative car makers around, and the 2010 Ferrari 458 Italia is an obvious testament to Ferrari’s inventive spirit. What makes the 2010 Ferrari 458 Italia stand out from previous Ferrari cars is the fact that it is an entirely new concept in terms of aerodynamics, instrumentation, ergonomics, handling, engine, and design, and this is due largely to Ferrari’s Formula 1 experience.

Mercedes-Benz SCL600 (Joystick Control)
This is the new car by Mercedes-Benz. It is really wonderful, but this photo doesn’t show the difference from other new cars.
The main difference is that this car has no steering wheel, no pedals, either. So, how is it driven? As you can see there is a joystick. You can control it by using this joystick, like playing computer games. I think children will eager to drive this automobile. Maybe we should let them drive it, as they are usually better at computer games than adults:)
One small note: You can’t buy and use this car. It is only for showing how technological improvements could come up new opportunities for car manufacturers and the clients, of course.
Mercedez Benz Brabus SLR Roadster
The Mercedes Benz SLR Roadster
is one cool supercar and everybody agreed on that. Apparently, the guys at Brabus didn’t think so and thought that it’s place for better, so they came up with this, the Brabus SLR Roadster, which is definitely a hot tuning program for the Merc. The car is powered by the same 5.5 liter supercharged V8 engine, but, with special camshafts, fuel cooling system and high-performance exhaust, Brabus engineers managed to squeeze
another 24 hp, so it now develops 650 hp, sprints from 0 to 62 mph (100 km/h) in 3.6 seconds and reaches 209 mph (337 km/h) top speed.
And, of course, the Brabus SLR Roadster also got a new bodykit, with a new exposed carbon fiber front spoiler, Brabus rear diffuser and fully polished Brabus Monoblock VI 20 inch wheels, fitted with Pirelli and Yokohama tires. As you’d expect, the even more exclusive roadster got some exquisite interior features, like custom upholstery designs and a multitude of leather types and colors, waffle-patterned leather carpeting and Brabus carbon-fiber applications for dashboard, center console and door trim.
The car is currently on display at the Essen Motor Show, in Germany and you can see more photos of the super roadster after the jump.
